Viz has been streaming the series, which features direction and character designs by Mardock Scramble's Shingo Suzuki. Has anyone been keeping up with K as it airs?

New Anime, Stage Play Dance Performance
K Project is getting New Anime, Stage Play & Dance Performance!
The new animation project: K Seven Stories will have Shingo Suzuki returning as director and character designer with original story by GoRA and GoHands.
The stage play K―Lost Small World― will run from July 22 to July 24 at the AiiA 2.5 Theater Tokyo and July 30 to July 31 at the Kyoto Gekijo theater. The play will be written and directed by Kenichi Suemitsu, story based on Yukako Kabei's spinoff novel which tells how Misaki Yata and Saruhiko Fushimi met and parted ways. Keisuke Ueda will play Misaki Yata and Shintaro Anzai will play Saruhiko Fushimi.

It had great potential and certainly deserves a continuation I liked the story (altough in the end there were unsolved questions and pacing was rather slow to keep up with the story) and the animation quality made me watch this. I just hope they do a better job with plot/dialogues/fights for 2nd season 
And I'm not sure about Mikoto but Silver King must have returned his original body since he's immortal (altough he implied that he'll die kiiling off 2 main characters is a bit.. overkill
